B) Portfolio management

Calculation of the value of client’s portfolio is carried out monthly, on the last day of the month. Commission for portfolio management is calculated monthly, on the value of portfolio on the last day of the month by formula:
Portfolio value × Annual management commission × 1/12

Success fee cannot go beyond 20%.

Success fee is calculated each 365 days from the day of signing a contract in the event that yield is larger than targeted, in the way that fee amount is calculated on the difference of portfolio value on the day of calculation with respect to target portfolio value defined in investment policy for client’s portfolio, respecting the clause of high-water mark.

High-water mark clause means that if the portfolio rises, for example from 10,000.00 BAM to 14,000.00 BAM during the first year (40% rise) and the target yield was 25%, the manager charges a success fee of 20% on the amount of 1,500.00 BAM. If in the following two years portfolio value falls to 11,000.00 BAM the manager is not entitled to success fee.

If during the third year the portfolio rises to 16,000.00 BAM, the manager can charge success fee only on the amount of difference, pursuant to high-water mark clause, (16,000.00-14,000.00) in the amount of 2,000.00 KM, where 14,000.00 BAM represents the portfolio value after the first year.
